Controller

 

Allied Forces is now hiring for a Controller for an Aviation Services company. The Controller is expected to embrace and support the Core Values and high standards set by the Aviation Services company in performance of duties with citizens, local, state and regional officials, property or business owners, colleagues and co-workers.

 

Job Duties for Controller include but not limited to:

 

  • Controller will analyze and review all general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and transparent recording of all transactions. Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Controller will invoice contracts and related collection of monies due to the company. Recording receipt of receivables and preparing bank deposits, and recording vendor invoices.
  • Controller will issue and reconcile purchase orders, ensure proper back up exists for all disbursements, and prepare financial reports. Analyzing and reporting trends in revenues and expenses as requested.
  • Preparation, review and submission of timely payroll and use tax reports on a quarterly and annual basis as required by various Federal and State taxation agencies.
  • Maintenance of District's fixed asset schedule for depreciation purposed, resolution of unclaimed cash, and serving as back up for bi-weekly payroll processing and oversee accounting functions of the pension fund.
  • Controller will be responsible for developing and maintaining record keeping systems and data regarding all accounting operations, personnel, inventories, utilizing available electronic data retention programs and means. Assures all records and data are properly stored and backed up to assure data is not lost.

 

Minimum Job Requirements for Controller:

 

  • Minimum of five years experience in office accounting, business administration, or related field; or Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field plus three years of experience, including banking, CPA or business management; or Bachelor's Degree on Business Administration, Accounting or other related field, plus one year of experience, including banking, CPA or business management.
  • Bookkeeping Certification preferred.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License.
  • Extensive experience with Quickbooks.
  • The ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.
